Contorted shapes that greet me,
Proceed to fly discreetly,
Take another dive 'til the shower subsides
Contented and invented,
Seven-fifty millimented,
Three on a two and a broken carafe
This, I understand, is just one and a half
And I know just where I'm going
Going where the junctions overflowing
And you can break my gauge
But you can't take my iron shoes
All crossings ain't so level
Since I made this pact with the devil
Cut off all your hair and you'll fly through the air!
Once I knew a guy named Gunzel
Had no legs yet ran through the jungle
Showed me to the horse that will run on a course
Now I am bound by these tracks on the ground
And I know just where I'm going
Going where the junctions overflowing
And you can break my gauge
But you can't take my iron shoes
Such a heavy and alluring vibe from the get-go. that repetitive note all through the first track keeps me on my toes, and the beautiful synth chords just weave in softly.
Would the genre be No Wave Casio Country? It's funny then devastating then back again. I don't think I've heard anything like this before, it's such obscure beautiful absurd album!! Ricardo Potoroo
Tim Arnold's latest album of lushly detailed art-pop explores the insidious ways tech surveillance has become a part of our lives. Bandcamp New & Notable May 9, 2023
It would be difficult for Jess Johns to write anything that I'm not completely in love with, but this EP is something else. Hauntingly beautiful and outstanding vocals, as per ✨ melgriffin
